They tried to make a big deal out of Mitt Romney talking about having had “binders” full of women job candidates while governor of Massachusetts. Really? That’s a gaffe? In what universe?

Meanwhile, Barack Obama, making the rounds on the late-night comedy shows yet again, said of those killed in the embassy in Libya, “If four Americans get killed, it’s not optimal.”

Not optimal? Isn’t that just a little detached and flip? Isn’t it a bit out of keeping with the situation? One of the deceased’s mothers thinks so, anyway: “My son is not very optimal — he is also very dead,” Pat Smith told a British paper.

What’s not optimal is the relatives of the four dead not getting answers.

And can you imagine if Romney had said what Obama said? There’d be so many outraged stories, they’d need

binders to keep them all in.

Wasn't the question posed as: Was that optimal?

What could he say? It was a yes or no question and he did not choose the word optimal. It is disengenuous to take things out of context like that, isn't it?
