SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the death of a pedestrian who was struck by two cars in Chatham County.
Savannah-Chatham County police spokeswoman Gena Bilbo says the accident happened shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Bilbo tells The Savannah Morning News that 36-year-old David Williams was struck and knocked to the ground by a Chevrolet Monte Carlo as he was walking on Ogeechee Road.
Police say the driver of a second vehicle, a Pontiac Grand Am, could not see Williams lying in the road and also struck him.
