MARIETTA — Marietta Police have identified a driver who died after a crash Monday on Interstate 75 as Delaney Floyd, 34, of Kennesaw.
The crash, in the northbound lanes near South Marietta Parkway, happened just after noon on Monday when one vehicle entered the lane of another vehicle. That caused a Jeep to overturn and its driver was ejected. The crash involved just two vehicles: the Jeep and a Dodge pickup truck.
Police are still investigating which vehicle changed lanes and said charges are pending.
The crash shut down a portion of the interstate for nearly two hours, but the scene was cleared just before 2 p.m. on Monday.
