Its first project, "Girl Rising," tells the story of several girls fighting tough odds to achieve their dreams. It features voiceovers by Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Kerry Washington and Selena Gomez. Richard Robbins, who made the wartime documentary "Operation Homecoming," will direct it.
CNN said Monday that "Girl Rising" will premiere next spring.

What started out as a great concept - worldwide news 24 hours a day - has turned the company into something that no longer knows what it is - or does best. They are flagging in ratings for a reason... they got away from what truly made them great ... in order to dabble in lots of other "stuff."
They should make "Girl Rising" about all the women made to live like dogs in the Middle East, and the hypocritical democrats in the U.S. who that does not seem to bother.
