Charles J. Jones, 19; Chasity Yvonne Gray, 22; and Stephen Michael Hines, 23, were arrested Aug. 21 on misdemeanor reckless conduct charges.
According to a warrant, a witness contacted police from his residence in the 1000 block of Franklin Road after hearing gunshots coming from behind his building.
While searching the area, a Marietta police officer saw Gray firing the gun from a patio toward Franklin Plaza, Franklin Road and I-75, according to the warrant.
While the officer waited for back-up, Jones left the apartment and was arrested near the bottom of the stairs of the apartment building, police said.
Jones admitted to firing the gun and told the officer that Gray and Hines also shot the firearm, police said. After obtaining a warrant, officers found 30 spent shell casings on the patio, according to the warrant.
Officer David Baldwin with Marietta Police said he is unaware of anyone or anything being hit by the bullets.
Jones and Hines were released from the Cobb County Jail on a $5,000 bond Aug. 25, and Gray was released Aug. 30.
