KENNESAW — Two Kennesaw Mountain High School students were arrested last week on suspicion of spray painting offensive messages about their teachers on the school walls.
Zacharie John Black of Marietta was arrested Aug. 15, and Matthew Esteban Rosado of Kennesaw was arrested Aug. 17. Both were charged with misdemeanor
criminal trespassing. Each was released on a $2,500 bond, Black n Aug. 16 and Rosado on Aug. 18.
According to warrants for their arrests, Black and Rosado spray painted the names of teachers followed by “obscene remarks” with black paint on the east outside wall of the fine arts building, west outside gym wall and walkways of the high school around 3:50 a.m. last Wednesday. According to the warrants, they were caught on the school security camera inside the gym and stairwell leading outside, and Black allegedly admitted in writing to a witness that he and Rosado spray painted the walls and walkways.
The school district declined to release any details regarding the student discipline report.
