Bill Byrne cost Cobb millions of dollars in business revenue in the mid-90s with that controversial "Chick-fil-A style" resolution he and his buddies passed so openly. A handful of businesses that were shopping Cobb for a location pulled out, it made (negative) national news, and The Olympics Committee even yanked out sports venues (and money) from the County as a result. Sorry - some of you may think that's a good way to represent the County... in 1950. But it's not 1950. It's 2012. I voted Lee, and I wasn't alone.
Many of us fail to know who we are really electing in leadership positions. Sad that when they get in they change everything from what they said in the beginning. This is true in all situations such HOAs public and state and federal office position. We have indeed make a bad choice for those keeping us paying a lot taxes; it hurt in this economy. We did fail TSPLOST under the backing of Lee and so many other who was tricking us. Yes its time for him and a lot other to go! I think we have a better chance with someone else. We want those who have lied to us to also resign so that we can make our county better with those who tells the truth.
I'm a senior, and don't understand why the County feels a need to offer Senior Centers. Looks like entertainment centers. I also agree we should cut back on libraries as was suggested before raising the millage rate. Stop will all the unnecessary services.

I'm paying an additional $600 a year in taxes thanks to Mr. Lee. I will remember this as I vote in the upcoming runoff election.... And i will make sure I bring some friends with me to the polls.
