As I reflect on Tuesday’s run-off between Tim Lee and Bill Byrne for Cobb Commission chairman, I find I have a lack of enthusiasm because both men have failed to demonstrate the style of leadership I believe necessary to be Chairman. Tim Lee appears to have been a man adrift, too unsure of himself and too sensitive to pressure while Bill Byrne appears too rigid, too sure of himself and too insulated. At worst these are the styles of a political bumbler versus a political bully.
You have endorsed Tim Lee with the hope that he has learned from his experience. I will be casting my vote with the hope that you are right. But I must admit that this election has me singing a line from a Simon & Garfunkel song: “Where have you gone Sam Olens, our county turns its lonely eyes to you.”

His capacity for learning is far outweighed by his desire to carry out whatever orders are dictated to him by the Cobb Chamber.
I am siding with the "bully" over the "bumbling lap dog"
