MARIETTA — Young Actor’s Playhouse will be have auditions for “Seussical!” from June 3 to 5 at 6:45 p.m. YAP will be casting roles for actors ages 11 to 18. The audition will consist of applications, choreography and singing. Workshops will follow June 6, 7 and 9. Cast members will have an opportunity to work on music and scenes from the show.
Rehearsals begin June 13. Shows are July 27 to Aug. 5. There is a $150 production fee required for this show. The theater is located at 3380 Canton Road.

Pip Arnold to perform Sunday in Kennesaw
KENNESAW — “An Evening with Pip” will feature “The Voice” contestant Pip Arnold in a live acoustic performance at Smith-Gilbert Gardens on Sunday at 6 to 9 p.m.
The event’s purpose is to help raise funds for Arnold to record his own song tracks. Tickets are $50 per person.
Refreshments can be purchased, and a cash bar will be available.
Arnold worked with Adam Levine, the lead singer of Maroon 5, on “The Voice.” He placed in the Top 12 overall in the show, but his finish was not high enough to guarantee a recording contract.
