Just Saying, its obvious u dont know much about how recruiting goes because your coach can help or hurt players get a scholarship, its about the relationship the coach develop with college recruiters. As a coach you should do everything within your power to help players get to that next level because we all know football is for now but an education can be forever.

Do you think you could help a kid or two get to the next level Coach Burton? Enough with the stories about you. Put up or shut up.

A big-time lack of understanding about how things work in the world shown in some of the comments...

Talent certainly helps but winning in the highest class of the Georgia high school playoffs takes more than talent. See Stephenson, who struggles to make it out of the first round every year yet easily has more young men sign with colleges than any school in this state.

In regard to ALL Hillgrove seniors being signed to play for colleges: seriously? That doesn't even happen at Stephenson.

@Amazing

32 PROFESSINAL football players but only two teams in the superbowl and only one will win a championship. WoW!!!

Coaches coach and players play. With all the attention one player got from Hillgrove from D-1 colleges.......... None of the coaches felt the way you do. Uhmmmmm!

Congrats to all the players that are taking the next step to further their education while playing the sport they like. To those players that did not get the athletic scholarship: Work hard, walk-on to your college team and play like there's no tomorrow.
Amazing...

All those recruits, and McEachern STILL couldn't get past the 2nd round of the playoffs!

The head football coach from Hillgrove should be ashamed of himself. All of the senior players should have been on this list. Step up parents and hold him accountable!
Just saying...

What if there were a system in place that did not involve coaches? Parents and athletes could get the exposure they seek and coaches could be on the peripheral.

Truth be told it's not the coaches job to get the kids in school. There is just no system in place for the D1-AA and D2 kids. If yes, say so and one can be in place.
yeah right!

Justin Brooks, thanks for coming to Walton. We couldn't have made it to the Dome without you. Good luck in college.
