There was not a party that could stack up against this one. The 2nd annual “Pancakes & Pajamas” party was the morning of Jan. 4 at the Acworth home of Mandy Landefeld. The open house style party included moms and children. Though some waffled, many came in their jammies to escape their houses during the long winter break. Strong coffee was served along with blueberry lemon pancakes, pumpkin walnut spice pancakes and mimosas. Guests brought maple syrup, orange juice and fruit salad. It couldn’t get any batter than this!
The more than 40 guests included Marjorie, Chapman, Bates and Julia Clarke; Erin Rae and Reaghan Flemming; Katherine, Tate and Janie Harrison; Cat and Eden Mew; Danielle, John Robert and Tyler Musolf; Meaghan and Katie Timko; Shannon Treanor; Hope, Kaitlyn and Carter Wells; and Becca, Emi Grace and Ty Wood. ***
The birthday dinner on Jan. 6 at Miller Union in Atlanta was definitely a surprise for Meghan Respess. But for her husband, Brad, and the friends that joined them, the evening was a well-executed plan. Running a few minutes late for their reservation allowed well-wishers to gather before the birthday girl arrived.
Guests included Meghan’s sister and brother-in-law Ashley and Dr. Val Akopov along with Brooks and Michael Lines, Caroline and Wes Murrell and Mandy and Dr. Bryan Robinson. ***
