Why does Towery justify Newt’s adultery?

DEAR EDITOR:

For the second time, MDJ columnist Matt Towery has attacked the second Mrs. Newt Gingrich, speaking of her faults in that marriage failure, and speaking of how abused Newt was.

What’s his point? It sounds as if he is justifying Newt’s adulterous relationship with another woman. His comments are unprofessional; ungentlemanly (I could go on.)

I don’t know either Newt or his second wife, so I don’t “have a dog in this race,” but if Newt was abused, he could have divorced his wife.

That woman hasn’t asked us to vote for her for president of the U.S., therefore she does not deserve to be denigrated by a columnist. Newt, however, has, so he is fair game for scrutiny.

Doesn't everyone realize that Newt has found "God".

If Matt thinks it's OK what Newt did to his mistress, then he obviously thinks its OK for Newt to do it to America too.
