Judith Faye Jones Smith of Acworth passed from this life on December 1, 2011. She was 57. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday December 6, 2011 at Woodstock Funeral Home with the Rev. Steven Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Marietta. The family will be receiving friends from 9:30 – 11 A.M. at the funeral home Tuesday morning. Judy was a graduate of the University of Georgia, Kennesaw State University and Marietta High School. She worked as an Educational Consultant in test scoring for the Pearson Company. Judy was an active member of South Cherokee Baptist Church. She will also be remembered as the Chaplain and member of the Hightower Trail Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution. Judy was known for her kindness and thoughtful ways she supported her friends and family. Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Addie Wilson Jones. Survivors include her father, John R. Jones, Acworth, GA., her brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Verena Jones, Griffin, GA., her nephew, Davin W. Carter. Condolences may be offered at www.woodstockfuneralhome.com
