On Nov. 12, Keely Phillpotts of Wheeler High School hosted a 5K Walk benefiting Fragile Kids Foundation for her senior project. Phillpotts interned with the foundation and organized the walk through the Indian Hills community to raise funds for the organization. She planned and coordinated every detail and raised more than $700.

Fragile Kids Foundation aids medically fragile children in need of medical equipment they cannot afford and is not covered by Medicaid or insurance. Keely’s project will allow a child to come off the waiting list and receive a special seating system.
