Eddy Campbell, 65, of Acworth, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011. Funeral service will be held Thursday, September 29, 7 p.m. at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. Born in Athens, TN. Mr. Campbell was a resident of Acworth since 1975. He had retired from Atlantic Steel in November of 1996 after 30 years and was currently employed with the Cobb County Board of Education as a Bus Driver. He loved this position and the kids he transported. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and was preceded in death by his wife, Deloris Campbell. Those who survive Eddy are his wife, Tamara Campbell of Acworth; son, Paul E. Campbell and wife, Lisa of Cumming; daughter, Missy Keeney and husband, Michael of Acworth; grandson, Ethan Campbell; sister, Brenda Campbell and husband, David Heuston of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Jack Campbell and wife, Letha of Lula, GA. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
