DEAR EDITOR:

I've had two additional thoughts on the proposed TSPLOST rail.

One: There will be a lot of torn up roads and surrounding area near the under construction line. Detours and inconvenience will be for many years.

Do you think the heavy trucks and other construction equipment won't tear up existing roads and utilities? What's that future cost?

Two: As I recall, when MARTA north reached Lenox Mall, theft and other crimes went up tremendously. It will take effort to dig out those closely held records but they need to be analyzed. The westernmost proposed route seems to be the best for a get-away. Hey! Someone just tweeted me the next flash mob location.

Same reason we should not add lanes on 75. It is very traffic free South of the N Loop anyway. Adding more lanes will bring in more crime to Cobb, as I recall when I-75 reached into Cobb, theft and other crimes went up.
