Based on the headline in Wednesday's MDJ ("Grand jury foreman probing school board is district bus driver"), Pete Borden's column in Tuesday's MDJ was spot on. It is obvious that there is a large scale plot afoot to subvert the authority of constitutionally elected officials. How many are involved is anybody's guess, but the ring leaders are pretty recognizable.
The disturbing thing is that we have an employee of CCSD, who has immediate family who are also employees of the CCSD, in charge of group of people who are grilling elected officials, and criticizing their actions. If that were not bad enough, we now learn that our district attorney sees nothing wrong with it. Perhaps he is totally gullible, or thinks we are. What group has raised more fuss about the calendar vote than CCSD employees and their families?
The D.A., Pat Head, says he has the authority to tell the grand jury to back off if they are out of line. When does he plan to tell them? Oh, by the way, Mr. Head and Mr. Hasbrouck, please don't insult our intelligence by continuing with the BS that the grand jury probe is not about the calendar vote. Of course it is! It is all about the calendar vote and we all know it.
It is time to move past Pat Head and demand that the State Attorney General's office get involved. There is more than ample reason to suspect collusion on a large scale.

You weren't complaining a year ago when the
Grand Jury was looking at the operation of the
school system. Now that the worm has turned
against your favorite BoE members you're singing
the conspiracy melody. Get off the high horse
and let the GJ do its job. You are not the one
who gets to determine what they investigate or
what they don't. The new BoE members stepped in
_ _it and now it's beginning to smell.
Could you be more off base and paranoid?
Is it that hard to believe that a bunch of angry parents who are tired of the same old board antics(even worse than before) could take matters into their own hands?
I am one of many, and we're just plain sick of it.
It is about the calendar, and it isn't. It's about the agenda of the caucus of 4 without regard for process, or for their constituents who for once, are sticking up for themselves.
It's about a board leader who shows her disdain for vocal opponents at every meeting, and does not care for their opinions.
If that's how you characterize subversion, then be thankful we are taking action.
Maybe you think Obama care is great too? Did you like the way that was shoved down the country's throat. If yes, then I simply feel sorry for you, as you really don't get it.
Where is the accountability and transparency that so many proimised in their platforms? What ever happened to due diligence? And, basing decisions based on facts that are easily obtainable to the public?
If I can find the data, why can't they?
Yeah, there is a large scale movement happening, and it's simply a lot of angry parents who are tired of the tyranny.
Borrow a dollar and buy yourself a clue.
