A Marietta man remains in the Cobb County jail on multiple charges after he was reportedly seen pushing an elderly man out of his wheelchair at a local fast food restaurant.
Jack Harshaw, 58, is accused of grabbing a 67-year-old man’s wheelchair and pushing it to the ground at the Wendy’s on South Marietta Parkway on June 11.
According to the arrest warrant, the man has a prosthetic leg and the person who reported the incident to police said the elderly man had a “large abrasion” on his left arm. Harshaw left the scene but was later arrested at a hotel on Cobb Parkway.
According to jail records, there were two other warrants issued for his arrest. The first warrant, which has a $25,000 bond, accuses Harshaw of identity fraud, insurance fraud and distribution of Hydrocodone. The second warrant, which has a $10,000 bond, accuses Harshaw of distribution of Hydrocodone.
