MARIETTA — Property owners could see an increase in their water bill as soon as Jan. 1 if the Marietta City Council approves a recommendation from the board that supervises the city’s water system. The Board of Lights and Water’s Budget and Rates Committee voted 2-1 Monday, with Bruce Coyle and Mike Wilson in favor and Terry Lee voting against, to approve the water rate increase.
