About 35,000 people are expected to flood downtown Marietta on Saturday to join in the city’s 28th annual Fourth of July holiday celebration. Kicking things off will be the Freedom Parade, a 1.5-mile-long march that starts at 10 a.m. at Roswell Street Baptist Church.
