CUMBERLAND — Cobb and state officials were joined by U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson on Monday to break ground on $48 million in road improvement projects for Windy Hill Road. The five projects will transform about two miles of the road and are expected to be complete by March 2017. The projects will add medians and additional lanes on Windy Hill Road on both sides of Interstate 75, according to the county’s department of transportation. Addit...
