(Progressive?) Tea Party in Iowa: “Sure, we’ll help with amnesty-again! We’ll back Gingrich because he says he is a conservative!”

Don’t look now, but at least one Tea Party group – in Iowa no less - is willing to trade amnesty for illegal aliens from Newt Gingrich for amnesty for illegal aliens from a re-elected Barack Obama.

Somebody named Charlie Gruschow, who runs the Des Moines Tea Party endorsed former “make ‘em legal again” Newt yesterday.

Apparently, the founder of this Tea Party likes the fact that Newt is an authority on… history.

May I suggest all concerned take a look at the year 1986 and the reason we have 12-20 million illegal aliens in the USA, some of whom Newt wants to reward. Again?

One can’t help but wonder which candidate more Newt - experienced and thoughtful Tea Parties in Georgia will land on.

I was disenchanted with the Tea Party when they published their Contract From America and out of 10-15 demands did not even mention illegal immigration.

The single biggest threat to our country, culture, economy and peaceful way of life are the illegal immigrant invasion. The problem is so out of control now that those who profit from them can no longer see a solution.

So why would the Tea Party endorse Newt Gingrich, who was no where in sight when they were starting, and ignore Michelle Bachman, who carried the water since she was first elected? Those who are speaking for the "Tea Party" are speaking with forked tongues. Beware of False Prophets.

I am a conservative AND a Republican. Something that is becoming rather rare.

Unlike some in thr Tea Party, I have decided that I cannot vote for Gingrich, partly because of his ridiculous amnesty position. Not to mention that he is about as conservative as Geo W. Bush.

Voters sick of Obama should stop pretending that Newt can beat him and get to work on finding the courage to keep asking questions. And ignore the media that will do anything to keep socialist Obama on office. NOTE: GINGRICH CANNOT BEAT OBAMA.

I will leave the president space untouched like I did with McCain.

We really have only one choice for a candidate who will stand up to the Treason Lobby, and that is Michele Bachmann. If the GOP/U.S. Chamber of Commerce racketeers-in Gingrich, Romney, or Paul, the ONLY counter move we have is to re-elect Obama.

With Obama in the oval office, and a GOP-controlled congress, THERE WILL BE NO AMNESTY, and the Republicans will be chewing Obama daily over border security/inland enforcement to grease the wheels for 2016. That buys more time for multiple states to pass enforcement legislation and shove the Treason Lobby up against the wall.

No amnesty, no legalization, no Dream Act, no jobs, no welfare, no rewards of any kind to illegal aliens, especially the ones who've broken the law the longest. We didn't break up the families, THEY did when they left home and family behind. Enforce the laws and make it very difficult for anyone not belonging here to stay. Why not demand your own country take care of you?

A year ago the "Tea Party" was giving hope to millions fed up with the two-party oligarchy. The beauty is that the "movement" was driven by ideals, not structure or organization. But it has became apparent neighborhood/community loud mouths(perhaps even Democrats/leftists) have formed "tea parties" and some have made some surreal, if not idiotic, choices since the beginning of the year. Now "a tea party" splintered from the rest can make a joke out of the principles that the movement began with.

I alwasys thought that the name TEA PARTY had been spread very thin. These jokers must have been hypnotized or weren't very sharp to begin with.
