On illegal immigration and a repeat of the 1986 GOP-led amnesty that was to have solved the crisis forever, a picture is worth a thousand words

Ask them about JOBS! JOBS! JOBS! and why we would wave the flag of surrender of Ben Franklin’s Republic.

Maybe ask them why the results and consequences of a 2013 legalization would be any different than the “one-time” 1986 legalization – and when they estimate the illegal alien lobby would ever stop the extortion. Or why Hispanics would suddenly vote for Republicans. Or what the difference is between the GOP and Obama’s progressives. Or when the GOP  plans on amnesty number three…

BTW – According to a new report from the Tomas Rivera Policy Institute at the University of Southern California, illegal immigration from that paradise to our south is back on the rise. Imagine that. The president of the United States ignores American law and the American congress in granting amnesty to another group of illegals, promises general amnesty if re-elected and illegal immigration increases! Who would’a thunkit?

Most illegal alien families use some sort of American welfare program and the myth of “cheap labor” is nonsense. It is really taxpayer subsidized labor. The part about “looking for a better life” is quite true.

Are productive, tax-paying Americans in search of a better life better off now than they were four years ago?

Giving race-baiting, parasitic hucksters a bad name: Recommended reading on the Southern Poverty Law Center

I just read the comments there from the local liberals and thought it fun to share a little more exposure of the creatures at the discredited Southern Poverty Law Center. This time from William A. Jacobson at the Legal Insurrection blog with “SPLC’s hatewatch gives cover to hate.”

A sample from Jacobson:

“As long-time readers surely know, I have examined the pernicious methodology of the Southern Poverty Law Center in moving from fighting Klan and neo-Nazi groups to fighting for the Democratic Party agenda against conservatives and the Tea Party.

In seeking to justify its hefty salaries, budget and fundraising, SPLC made a very dangerous leap to treating political opponents as “hate groups” and speech it didn’t like as “hate speech.”

My first post about SPLC was when Mark Potok, head of SPLC’s Hatewatch project, smeared a prominent black female law professor at Vanderbilt as an “apologist for white supremacists,” based upon a complete misreading of her review of a movie involving racially inflammatory rhetoric.  It was a vicious attack, taken apart by James Taranto in The Wall Street Journal.

Since then I examined the SPLC’s tendency to exaggerate hate group statistics for fundraising purposes, including inventing hate groups in my home State of Rhode Island:

When it came to the Tea Party, I wrote that SPLC Completed Its Descent Into Madness when it called a speech by Sarah Palin at the National Tea Party Convention in February 2010 one of the landmark events in the “Patriot Movement” (which SPLC defined as Tim McVeigh-type anti-government violent groups):

Whatever SPLC once was, it now is a bastion of political hackery which, by equating legitimate political opposition with criminal violence, is doing substantial damage to our national fabric.

It is time for people of conscience to speak out against SPLC’s tactics.

SPLC continued its agenda against the Tea Party and conservatives when it persisted in claiming that Jared Loughner was “right wing” long after it was clear that was not the case…”

Giving race-baiting, parasitic hucksters a bad name: Recommended reading on the Southern Poverty Law Center From the American Thinker blog, some significant and all-too-factual insight into the parasitic hucksters at the Montgomery-based Southern Poverty Law Center headlined “Southern Poverty Law Center's Lucrative 'Hate Group' Label.” Please see the link further down.

Along with a lot of other pieces of information well-known to those who stand up to the hate-mongers who are attempting to serve as profiteering “progressive” thought police in 21st century America, the author uses one of my favorite quotes to describe the slithering SPLC founder, Morris Dees: “He's the Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker of the civil rights movement," renowned anti- death-penalty lawyer Millard Farmer says of Dees, his former associate, "though I don't mean to malign Jim and Tammy Faye." That from a former business partner of Dees.

Because of nearly a decade of experience in immigration crime-fighting, the quote always reminds me of Georgia’s own useful ethnic hustler, Jerry Gonzalez, of the open-borders, Jane Fonda-funded Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials Inc (GALEO).

As is the habit of many of us paying attention when having to even type the words “Morris Dees” and “Southern Policy Law Center”, after I scrape the bottom of my pro-enforcement footwear, it is off to the shower to feel clean again.

Here is a story from the Huffington Post that we are guessing Progressive Politics, Marietta Daily Journal blogger Kevin Foley of Kennesaw Georgia isn’t going to be using in his “I wanna be an expert on illegal immigration” blogs anytime soon.

It is from Robert Hardaway, a law professor at Denver University and economics author   lamenting the fact that the 1986 amnesty for illegal aliens resulted in economic hardship (“catastrophe”) for minorities in America. And that the agenda of ignoring our immigration laws at the insistence of American business is bringing down the wages of our poorest and real immigrants. Which, of course for business, is the goal.

Readers may want to spend a few minutes on this: “Reagan/Bush Amnesty Agenda an Economic Catastrophe for Minorities and Legal Immigrants”

Part of which goes like this:

“In 1987, at a time when teenage unemployment among African Americans approached 80 percent [1] , greedy garment makers petitioned the INS to import more cheap labor on grounds that there was an "unskilled labor shortage", repeating the tired mantra that "Americans won't do the dirty work that illegal immigrants are willing to do"-- ignoring the fact that it isn't the dirty jobs that Americans disdain. Cities have no problem recruiting for the dirtiest of jobs, like garbage collection, when decent wages are offered. Most Americans would be willing to pay a few cents more for their tomatoes if it meant social justice for minorities and the legal immigrants who have been reduced to grinding poverty by the Reagan/Bush amnesty agenda.”

None of this will make a shred of difference on immigration enforcement to the Kevin Foley’s of the world however. Having been told what mindless goop the 21st century liberal must go out and sell, sell, sell, the babbling, useful idiots will press for another amnesty and path to citizenship for illegals because they are unable to noodle out the issue themselves., know nearly nothing about it and lack the courage to stand up for their own country.

There is no shortage of evidence of the harm the amnesty of 1986 has done to the USA. Even the then-INS reported on it after the amnesty disaster. Most in the liberal media realize that most Americans don’t even know it ever happened. To even see it mentioned in the press is rather unusual.

By now, most of us know that today the Obama regime began implementation of Dear Rulers’ “we won’t enforce American immigration laws that may affect you, so tell your cousins to vote for me” “temporary” re-election amnesty program. This, a little more than a year after Obama assured the angry open borders mob that as president, his duty is to enforce the law. You can see a short video of Obama making that statement.  Please pass it around.

Originally, Obama told the nation his re-election amnesty would apply to about 800,000 illegal aliens. That estimate has now doubled. Because of the massive fraud that is coming, by the time it is over, if it ever is, it will double again.

Right now, there are thousands of deliriously happy forty-something Mexicans – still in Mexico - waiting for the ink to dry on the documents they have just purchased that “prove” they have been residing in desperate victimhood in Anywhereville, USA for years. And that they are twenty-nine years old. After they escape capture after crossing our border illegally and apply for the Obama amnesty, expect many of them to use a taxpayer paid translator.

Expect the immigration lawyer industry to make a handsome profit on “assisting” the illegals with the minimal application process. 

Oddly enough, there are a great many liberals who refuse to admit that this is a shameless campaign maneuver to boost candidate Obama’s Latino voter turn-out and a direct result of the increasingly powerful illegal alien lobby organizing street screamers demanding amnesty.

 These rocket scientists may want to read a fairly recent New York Times news analysis “After Chorus of Protest, New Tune on Deportations.”

“President Obama decided last week on a major policy shift to stop deportations of young illegal immigrants after administration officials saw that he was losing the initiative to Republicans on an issue he had long championed and that he was alienating the Latino voters who may be pivotal to his re-election bid.

In recent weeks, the White House faced intense pressure from some of its closest allies — their voices often raised in frustration — to provide some relief for immigrant communities. The urging came from Harry Reid of Nevada and Richard J. Durbin of Illinois, the top two Democrats in the Senate, and the Hispanic caucus in the House of Representatives, as well as Latino and immigrant leaders across the country…”

All Americans should recognize that Barack Hussein Obama and the Democrat party are capable of literally anything in Obama’s quest for re-election and fulfilling his promise to “fundamentally change the United States.” And we should all ask “what next?”

If Obama’s poll numbers take another dive, does he choose yet another group of illegal alien fugitives for whom immigration laws won’t apply? Will he simply decree that all immigration laws are suspended until he says otherwise?

Which laws does Ruler Obama suspend next? Where are the Republicans? Can a president who despises the rule of law and the U.S. constitution be re-elected? Can the American Republic survive four more years of Barack Obama? Does the Presidential oath of office mean anything in the future?
