Woman accused of stealing Jeep

A Marietta woman is accused of driving her infant in a stolen Jeep near Delk and Franklin roads in Marietta.

Ameerah Smith drove her 2-month-old son in a stolen 2004 Jeep Liberty while her drivers license was expired, according to the arrest warrant.

Smith was arrested July 24 by the Marietta Police Department and jailed on a $10,000 bond. She was charged with theft, a felony, driving without a license and driving without a seatbelt, both misdemeanors.
