Don’t miss your chance to go to Six Flags White Water on Saturday or Sunday where you can ride the largest collection of water slides and attractions in the Southeast including the Typhoon Twister, new this summer. Whitewater is open on weekends through Sept. 2.
“The Typhoon Twister is really fun. It’s like a sideways tornado,” said Haley Barden, 13.
She and her brother Ryan, 11, have used White Water passes for more than five years. The family lives in Acworth and the children attend Durham Middle School.
“(Hayley and Ryan) love the new ride,” said their mother, Reyna.
Typhoon Twister is for thrill-seekers. Riders plunge down an enclosed five-story drop before shooting into a 67-foot bowl that spins into a corkscrew drop chute splashing into the pool below.
“We go once a week (to White Water) during the summer,” Reyna said.
White Water makes for a fun day. “(White Water) is an easy way to get the kids entertained,” Reyna said.
Weekend hours are Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is also open Monday on Labor Day weekend.
