20th Annual Taste of Marietta

Atlanta Opera - The Italian Girl in Algiers

Sung in Italian with projected English translations, The Atlanta Opera will present The Italian Girl in Algiers for the first time. The production is a whimsical, madcap adventure where Isabella is captured by an Algerian ruler who dreams of adding an Italian wife to his harem. Once imprisoned, Isabella turns the tables and rescues the man of her dreams.

I Am That Hero 5K Run/Walk

Participants can run/walk dressed in superhero and local hero outfits to show their support and honor local community heroes – police, firefighters, EMT and medical personnel, and former/current military personnel.
