There is an egregious disease presently epidemic in America, and incredibly, our government and public education system are responsible for spawning the disease and spreading its germs throughout our nation. Although not life-threatening, the disease is debilitating and if left untreated will eventually lead to America’s demise as a great nation. Incredibly, our president and a majority in Congress want the infection to spread across the country because the illness furthers their political agenda. The disease referred to goes by the name of Stupidity and those infected are easily recognized, by their blind support for a president who is leading America down the road to financial collapse.
The “Fiscal Cliff” issue is a poignant example. President Obama is hell-bent on increasing taxes for everyone earning more than $250,000 per year. Millions of Americans, infected with the disease of stupidity, are cheering Obama on. Why? Obama has promised to not raise taxes on anyone earning less than $250,000 and that those earning less than $250,000 will not be affected.
I spoke with four small business owners, each grossing over $250,000 per year, and each told me that out of necessity, any tax increases will be passed on to the consumer. Now, as it is reasonable to believe those affected with stupidity do not know the meaning of “consumer,” I would point out it is them. Everyone in America will be affected by tax increases on the wealthy and every one will pay more for goods and services.
I would also submit that taxation is not going to solve the problem of out-of-control spending by government leaders who spend like drunken sailors to buy the votes that will keep them in office.
Our federal government needs leadership that wields an ax and eliminates thousands of bureaus and agencies that are totally unneeded and must be eliminated if government is going to operate under a balanced budget.
Sadly, as the disease of stupidity is endemic and the Obama led government feeds and spreads the disease, there is little chance that this dreaded disease will be eradicated and about a decade from now, America will be bankrupt.

If the threshold is indeed $250,000, the four small business owners he allegedly spoke to will pay the lower rate on the first $250,000 they make. They'll be taxed at a higher rate - perhaps 4%, although we don't know yet - on anything over $250,000.
This guy is clearly consuming far right misinformation and not taking the time to become a well-informed voter. I'm guessing he will greatly benefit if a deal is struck.
BTW, at your suggestion, I will write about why I support Obama as a small business owner sometime in the near future.
Fair point; however, I was focusing on the other part of that sentence: "...any tax increases will be passed on to the consumer..." I should have been more specific.
