Warrant: Woman hit victim with bat

Quavada Cynnicia Hamilton of Smyrna, 27, was charged Sept. 6 with multiple misdemeanors, including two counts of criminal trespassing/damage, three counts of cruelty to children of the third degree, battery and the felony of aggravated assault weapon. Her bond is $25,000. According to the warrant, Hamilton trespassed onto the victim’s property wielding a baseball bat. Once inside, Hamilton reportedly assaulted the victim with the baseball bat, hit the victim with her fist, threatened to kill the victim while using curse words in front of three minors and caused $500 of damage to the victim’s home. The victim suffered minor cuts on her face and ankle. Hamilton is in custody of Cobb Police. — Frances Farmer
