MARIETTA — Marietta Police say a Marietta woman whipped a 14-year-old boy with an extension cord for bad behavior at school.

Brandy Mitchell was arrested March 13 and charged with three misdemeanors on battery and family violence.

According to the warrant, the cord left visible marks on the boy’s arm and leg.

Mitchell was released last Saturday on $15,000 bond.
