AUSTELL — In the late afternoon of Sept. 4, Ricardo Luis Sullivan of Loganville was arrested on two felony counts charging him with obstruction and possession of a firearm while committing a crime.

Officers with the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force attempted to serve a warrant from Peachtree City Police Department to Sullivan for child molestation and aggravated sexual battery at his place of employment, Stella’s Restaurant in Austell, according to the warrant.

Sullivan ran from officers and “was hit by two Tasers and continued to attempt to escape from the building,” the warrant stated.

The warrant also stated that Sullivan attempted to reach for a Cobray .45/.410 single shot pistol in his right front pocket.

While being handcuffed, the warrant stated, Sullivan attempted to punch an officer.

Sullivan suffered a cut to his right eyebrow and the officer had a cut to his upper lip.

Because Sullivan is considered to be a flight risk and a danger to re-offend, there is no bond awarded.
