Ronald Coleman Walker, age 68, of Powder Springs, died Sunday, June 16, 2013. Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am, on Wednesday, at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home Macland Chapel in Powder Springs with Rev. Tom Gray officiating. Mr. Walker was a lifelong resident of Cobb County and a graduate of South Cobb High School, class of 1963. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam conflict. He worked with AT&T as a Network Engineer until he retired in 1999. His hobbies were golf and gardening and he was a recreational pilot. Survivors include his wife, Karen Smith Walker of Powder Springs; five daughters, Amy Walker Price of Powder Springs, Becky Walker Adelman of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Casy Elyse Walker of Powder Springs, Randi Briana Pearson of Marietta, and Jamie Mikelle Pearson of Acworth; three grandchildren, Hannah Rose Price, Ansley Faye Price, and Ellis Joy Adelman; two brothers, Edward K. Walker of Marietta and Richard H. Walker of Villa Rica; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00p pm on Tuesday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home Macland Chapel in Powder Springs. 770-943-1511.
