SMYRNA — Two Atlanta teenagers are accused of hijacking a woman’s car at gunpoint in Smyrna on Dec. 18.

Jaquarez J. Parks, 16, and Montavious Trevon Smith, 19, were arrested on multiple felony counts after allegedly aiming a semiautomatic handgun at a driver on Countryside Lane, off Spring Road west of Jonquil Park, and driving off in her Lexus between 9:46 and 10 p.m. on Dec. 18, criminal warrants say.

The suspects attempted to avoid capture by fleeing from patrol cars, according to police.

Parks and Smith were arrested the following day.

The pair each face a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving and felony charges of hijacking, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, attempting to elude police and armed robbery. Smith also faces a felony charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, based on a prior burglary conviction, according to the warrants.

Parks posted bond, while Smith is being held in the Cobb County Jail to be turned over to another law enforcement agency. It is unclear from jail records who will take custody of him.

Smyrna Police did not return calls for comment.

Sean Murphy cyber bullied many of us on the Patch website, we have the proof. He had an agenda.

I will include this in the police report.

A city that has to put people up to try to silence the truth from getting out , is an extremely dirty, corrupt city.

The city has been warned .

You are suffering from paranoid delusions. Put that in your police report.

I am not Sean Murphy, do not know Sean Murphy, never heard of Sean Murphy except from MK, and I have commented many times on MK's volumes of negative posts. A city did not put me up to anything whatsoever -- I speak of my own accord. I do not know what you are warning me about. Isn't it you that supports our rights to speak freely? You need mental help; not jail time and winning lawsuits. If I hated life as much as you do in Smyrna, the answer would be very, very simple to me--MOVE. And it just seems to me, MK, that you hate life, no matter where you might buy a home. That is my freedom of speech comment on you, just as you speak your freedom of speech comments.

Why does MK assume that anyone that comments on her posts is cyber stalking her and lives in a garage near her and has a wife? I call that one that MK is cyber stalking an apparent neighbor of hers, but that is unbeknown to me. MK comments on posts -- does that make her a cyber stalker? MK needs serious help for paranoid delusions and an explanation of what it means to post a public post and what rebuttal means -- rebuttal is not cyber stalking. MK needs to move to one of her oft-cited fantasy cities for her own mental health; she doesn't need to move for her physical well being. At least not because of me that often comments on MK posts and I am a woman that does not know MK. I just feel MK needs serious mental health help for paraniod delusions.

What kind of city(includes the mayor, council & several department heads), continue to instigate the cyber stalking of a private citizen?

I feel this stalker is a threat to my safety.
Not Cyber Stalking

MK-I recommend serious help for you and I say this with kindness and concern. I have commented on your comments and I am not a cyber stalker. Others have commented on your comments and they are not cyber stalkers. I have no connection whatsoever (and never have had any connection whatsoever) with the mayor, council (sic) or several department heads. Please have your paranoia checked out for your own mental health. You instigate comments when you make your ridiculous comments slamming Smyrna. I am not a threat to your safety. Your own mind is a threat to your safety. If you would just quit commenting here, you would find your imaginary stalker would be gone. You commented on my comments, so that makes you a cyber stalker in your opinion and you are a threat to my safety. MK, how can we help you to be happy? Nope, booting a mayor that won majority vote by a landslide we cannot do. Help you move, we can.

I'm doing exactly what American citizens SHOULD be doing! It's what's supposed to keep elected officials from abuse of our tax money!

Is Smyrna somehow excluded from understanding THEY work for US?

I am simply waiting for answers.

Unfortunately, there is NO communication outlet w/ the city of Smyrna,.. because they have too much to hide!

It's you, doing the cities 'dirty work', that is on the 'creepy' side!! YOU are the one sitting in your garage, (is your wife aware of your stalking of me, a PRIVATE citizen??), looking for any comments that I make about expecting the city to do whats right. You see, I don't have to hide behind bullies & anonymous tags,...like you & the city.

There's not one elected official in Smyrna willing to be honest.

MK, I made the comments you are objecting to and I am a woman that doesn't have a garage. I am not doing anyone's dirty work--I made comments of my own accord as that you are obsessed with Smyrna and you need to move for your own well being--not your physical well being, but you are suffering from paranoid delusions. I am a woman, therefore, I don't have a wife. I am not a bully. I am citizen concerned about your mental health. I have on connections to the government of Smyrna. I am honest to the core--and you need serious help.

Jaquarez and Montavious......two rather interesting names which reveal much about these miscreants, the women who bore them and the sub-culture in which they lived. Is anyone surprised they've chosen a life of crime at such an early age? We haven't heard the last of these two degenerates.

OUT ON BOND!?! What was the bond for Parks? Who paid it? I smell a deal to cooperate in testifying against the career criminal of the duo.

-reckless driving

-hijacking,

-aggravated assault,

-possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime,

-attempting to elude police

-armed robbery

As long as these parents treat their kids like crap growing up, that's what society will get....CRAP.

Because someone is named Jaquarez and Montavious, this implies to you they are born into a life that reveals much to you by their names since you don't know them and the mama you slam? And anyone named Jaquarez or Montavious is automatically, in your opinion, born into sub-culture? Perhaps we won't hear the last of these two degenerates. Perhaps we will hear from them in the future as they rise above being labeled by their names. If these two individuals lived in upper class America, would you be judging them and flagging them as failures because of their names? This is the most prejiduce post I have seen. And hope I will never see one like it again. I am a rebel past child bearing age, but I if I could have two more sons, I would name them Jaquarez and Montavious just to prove you wrong that a name is a sure fire prejudice to some, as it is to you, Southern Patriot. Perhaps Bob and Bill are acceptable names to you that Bob and Bill do not commit crimes, yet Jaquarex and Montavious do.

The news coming out of Smyrna is a reflection of the way the city is run. Bad!!

The lack of honest leadership in this city amazes me. What really amazes me, is how the folks continue to allow these thieves to take our (tax)money at gunpoint & spend it on their cronies & slush funds.

The biggest lie in Smyrna, is the Concord Road project! The city is continuing to repeat the lie that it's an 11.5 million dollar project. LIE!

It was a 9.2 million dollar project initially on the 2005 Splost. The city misused to money , paid big amounts to small businesses, paid Croy Engineering a big chunk to oversee this lie,.. then when the money disappeared,... they simply stuck the exact same project into the 2011 Splost.

...so who are criminals we really need to fear in Smyrna?

The dishonest government, that's who!

So you are one of the dishonest ones that don't think Smyrna citizens should have anyone looking out for them,.. instead, you support a city being dishonest to its citizens, wasting tax money, lying, hiding info, fraud, abuse, cronyism,...all that comes along w/ absolute power, eh?

I, personally don't like the city I live in, looking like a SLUM,..while 20 MILLION is wasted on a road project that is nothing more than a SLUSH fund!

Smyrna deserves better than what it's got!!

Guess you are my cyber stalker, put up to chase me around. Yeah, I say, join their club,.. that should win you a 'favor'.

Smyrna citizens will wake up one day and wonder where their city went. They will find remnants in peoples pockets.

Where is the correlation between two teens that hijacked a car and the way Smyrna is run? If crime is an indication of how a city is run, all better get out of town anywhere they live. MK, it must be a totally miserable life to wake up every single day looking, hunting, searching, and praying for any way possible to smear Smyrna without getting arrested. It is you I fear that are so full of hatred all you do with your life is rant and rave about Smyrna. What really amazes me is you, MK.

I don't know why the criminal justice system let these thugs out after their first arrest. If you are being arrested aas a teenager for felony counts, chances are, you will be a thug the rest of your life. This attitude of, we can rehabilitate them, is crap. Lock them up for good. It is a miracle they didn't kill that woman!
