DUBLIN, Ga. (AP) — Authorities are investigating an all-terrain vehicle crash that claimed the life of a 15-year-old Laurens County teenager.

The Courier Herald reports that West Laurens High School sophomore Tucker Slaughter was killed Tuesday afternoon after the 2004 Polaris he was on wrecked along Alcorn Road in Laurens County.

Georgia State Patrol Trooper First Class Chad Harrison said Slaughter was heading west on the south shoulder of Alcorn road when he overcorrected to the right and lost control, causing the ATV to overturn.
