John “Joel” Taylor, age 45, of Smyrna, passed away December 4, 2011. He is survived by his parents John L. and Betty J. Taylor, of Smyrna; sister, Tyla Glover, of Dallas; brother, Robert (wife, Stacey) Taylor, of Woodstock. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Hugh Grimmer officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
