It’s about time someone said it, and I’m referring to Dr. Melvyn Fein’s MDJ column (“Are whites to be artificially stupid?” July 8), in which he asked if whites should be “artificially stupid.”
I’m a white male who has spent well over a decade living in majority-black cultures. As a teen in Bermuda, I had to routinely hide in the bushes on my way home from school in order to avoid being assaulted by black gangs. On one occasion, my left hand was nearly destroyed by a black 13-year old brandishing a broken beer bottle. I was 10, and he was offended by my not letting him beat up my brother without cause. Already a criminal, he knew what he was doing — there was blood everywhere, so much so that my mother, an RN, was sickened by the sight.
And while staying here in 2005-’06, I got a re-introduction to those who Fein refers to, secondhand, as, “low-class, dangerous, and/or vulgar.” In the neighborhood, my tires were slashed for politely asking a group of black teens to stop playing softball in front of my car. Having gotten away with it, they were still taunting me months later.
At work, a black man was rewarded with shouts of praise for assaulting a rather docile white supervisor without provocation. I was the only one to lift him off the floor and was taunted for over an hour by the perpetrator’s black fans. They lied to the cops, and he escaped prosecution. Humiliated, the victim was forced to transfer to North Carolina to avoid further assaults.
On another occasion, while protesting an hour-long barrage of profanity from a black co-worker (including the liberal use of those disgusting hyphenated words), I was admonished, “You won’t have any trouble with me, white boy, if you give me respect!” It was not the first or the last time I was called “white boy” while working there.
And while black gangs are now openly assaulting and killing white people, the mainstream media are instead focused on dangerous muffin-maker Paula Deen.
Why do these gutless thugs get away with it? The reason is our deeply immoral, anti-God, out-of-control federal government.
Johnny Cochran is dead and O.J. Simpson in jail. Let’s stop playing the race card and start putting violent men — white or black — behind bars.
