SMYRNA – Smyrna Police are looking for a suspect reportedly accused of shooting and killing a man in what they believe is a drug-related incident Sunday night.
According to a release from Officer Michael Smith with Smyrna Police, his department is investigating the shooting death of 48-year-old Kenneth Anderson of Smyrna.
“At approximately 10:18 p.m., police received a report of a man being shot at 2145 Kennesaw Way,” the release states. “Upon arrival of police, the victim and resident … was found deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.”
“The shooting does not appear to be random as it appears to be drug-related,” the release continues. “At this time I do not have any suspect information available for release.”
