More than 200 family and friends, some who travelled from California, Indiana, New Jersey and Georgia, shared in this special event as Liz was given by Sheriff Warren to the love of her life, John Malcom. Liz was stunning in a Mori Lee bridal gown designed by Madaline Gardner. She wore the veil belonging to Lee Malcom, her future mother-in-law, as something borrowed/something old. Equally dazzling was the bride’s mother, Penny Warren, wearing an ink blue sleeveless satin gown.
Following their vows, Liz and John left in the carriage and proceeded to the back of the plantation for a lovely reception. The Band, Bobby Moore and the Rhythm Aces, was amazing and entertained the guests with rock and roll music. Fig surgarcane glazed smoked pork tenderloin, crawfish queso with chili dusted tortilla strips, crispy fried plaquemines parish oysters with jalapeno tartar, and an imported and domestic cheese and fruit display were just several of the items served at the reception.
Among many family and friends attending were: Sue and Neil Alexander, Wanda and Sam Callahan, Judy and Buck Clark, Joanna and Paul Conyngham, Beth and Greg Griffin, Charlie and Diane Jones, Linda and Dan Northcutt, Linda and Tom Palmer, Fran and Don Sutton and too many Warren and Malcom family members to mention. Attending from the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office were Col. Milton Beck, Lynda and Gene Coker, Lt. Col. Janet Prince, Major Susan Faulkner, Paula Morris, Angela Paschal, Melanie Young, and Kimberly Norrell.
Fashion spotlight of the week: In a white mermaid style wedding gown with sweetheart neckline — Liz Warren — isn’t she lovely?
