MARIETTA — A manhunt is underway for one of two suspects in an armed robbery in suburban Atlanta.

Police say one suspect was taken into custody after police spotted him near the scene of the robbery Sunday. Cobb County police spokesman Mike Bowman says the second suspect took off in a getaway vehicle and remains at large. WSB-TV reported the vehicle was ditched on Interstate 75 near the Fulton-Cobb County line.

Bowman told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution shots were fired and the second suspect has been injured.

Information on the robbery and a detailed description of the second suspect were not immediately available.
