Mama, I miss you. Mama, I need you. Mama I love you. I don't know what to do without you... I'm so lost now.

Mary is survived by her Daughter Amanda, her sisters Dianne, Sally, and Emily, and numerous cousins.

Mary was retired. She'd worked as the U.S census bureau, the voters registration booth, at her "son" Shane's shop as an office executive, and at Life University as assistant to the VP.

She was one of 5 children born to Dorothy Wilkins Peppers Thatro and Lester Lee Peppers. The family lived in Barrow county and Atlanta before coming to Marietta in 1954.

Mary's first marriage was at a young age. She married Bobby Kile. Her second marriage was in 1981 to Brad Shetrone. She had her first and only child in 1982.

Mary was a Christian and lived life based on biblical principles. She'd been a member of Open Bible Tabernacle in Marietta, Calvary Baptist Church in Smyrna, and lastly, Roswell Street Baptist church in Marietta, where she attended since the early 90's onward.

Her hobbies and interests included fishing, camping, grilling, bird watching, enjoying gardens and other outdoor activities. She enjoyed dining, board and card games, film noir, gospel music concerts, shopping, collecting bells and especially loved socializing.

Mary was probably best remembered as the "woman in the wheelchair". She inspired many people by refusing to allow her physical challenges to prevent her from going out & about vibrantly and living her life to the fullest. She had an independent spirit and never allowed hardships to be an obstacle.
