Right’s ‘crusade’ continues despite election results

DEAR EDITOR:

Verily it continues. The right’s media denizens are quickly on the crusade to demonize the popular vote and the Electoral College. Dr. Melvyn Fein stated in his Nov. 12 column that we are sure to see four more years of “unrepentant liberalism … trample over our lives, liberties and scared honor.” To anoint one’s self with the mantle of Honor, Integrity and Sanity, thus being the sole purveyors on said virtues, proves the adage that “denial is not just a river in Egypt.”

When Dr. Fein and his fellow crusaders on FOX, Rush Radio, Sean H’s happy hour and the MDJ’s heavily biased slant start actually pulling for America instead of against the spoken will of the people, you know those that actually voted, only then will our country achieve our next level of greatness. God bless America and our president.

Bob Williams

Mr. Williams, I do pull for America. I do not like the fact that axis has shifted in favor of the moochers instead of the makers. I am a fiscal conservative with more liberal social views. I voted based on the economy - pure and simple. Obama and is friends are going to tax and spend this country into oblivion and insert big government where it doesn't belong. We have to get people back to work, make our tax system more fair and get healthcare spending under control. It doesn't matter if you're a Republican or a Democrat. That should be our goal -- not pet projects. If we truly are going to pull for America, then the elected officials in Washington need to get their rears in gear and make it happen. Oh, how we could use Clark Howard or Dave Ramsey as the country's CFO right now.
