Red Cross facing blood shortage across the south

All blood types are currently needed and there is an urgent need for types O negative and B negative.

Type O negative is the universal blood type and can potentially be transfused to patients with any blood type.

Eligible blood donors can find a blood drive or donation center and schedule an appointment by going to redcrossblood.org or calling 1-800-RED CROSS.
