EDITOR’S NOTE: Below is a selection of the responses from readers of in reaction to recent MDJ stories.

Readers debate election results …

Timus — Black people have conservative values. Hispanic people have conservative values. If the Republicans can just boot the racists out their tent would swell up faster than Mitt Romney’s head after the first debate!

Just Wait — Sen. Saxby Chambliss, instead of working to move voting blocs to your way of thinking, why not try to move your way of thinking toward the voting blocs? It is similar to stores selling Christmas stuff during the Christmas season instead of shorts and swim wear. Once you do this, then find candidates that don’t come from the graduation class of Clown College.

Lib in Cobb — @DA King: A majority has spoken. I look forward to your moaning, kvetching, complaining for four more years.

Grydv — Where do I get my Food Stamps and 4g cell phone? I love America and look forward to getting on the gravy train. Many blessing to the Liberal Media.

MFDF Rocks — Well I guess Mitt was wrong. The it’s not 47%, it’s more like 55%. The hard working people of America loose and the GIMMIE’s win. While the rest of America works and pays their own way. Oh, and everyone else’s!

Samuel Adams — If ANYBODY in Saxby’s office is reading these comments, please tell the senator that his quiet, calm and almost robotic demeanor on the Benghazi cover up hasn’t helped our military or our party one iota. Where are the REPUBLICAN senators on this issue? The amount of rage in the military community and those who support our foreign service personnel is incredible, yet this too shall pass because no one will stand up to Obama or the media on it.

Jerry Wingate — Congratulations America, you just voted for your own destruction.

Lib in Cobb — @Jerry: The GOP had their shot and you lost. We Democrats lived through, George I and Sonny Boy George, you will live through eight years of a thinking president. The population of this great country is changing rapidly and folks like you, just can’t stand it. Celebrate Difference!

Worried in West Cobb — Well, I am not looking forward to four more years of unemployment, being taxed an additional $4,000 to $7,000 as a middle class American that is already having trouble making ends meet or watching our country go down a socialist road. Oh well, so much for being able to give to charities and spend anything extra.

Lib in Cobb — @Worried: Do you work for FOX? Waaaaaaaaah! The best the GOP could do this time was Mittens, he then compounded his already visible problems by picking Ryan, an extremist, who was the absolute worst choice he could have made.

Sherry Anderson — Leave religion out of politics. Voted Democrat.

Lib in Cobb — Let’s analyze the election. I guess that’s not necessary. Fox has finally stopped talking about Benghazi.

Church Streeter — Finally stopped talking about Benghazi? Is the matter resolved? Hardly. The sorry part is that the administration swept this travesty under the rug until after the election with the complicit aid of the media. It wasn’t until Monday that CBS aired more footage of the Obama interview that contradicts his contentions in the debate that he labeled it a terrorist attack from the start. For you to dismiss it as a distraction that shouldn’t have been covered during the election completely obliterates any credibility you thought you had.

Anonymous — Let’s all let you Obamaphone moochers get the country you voted for. Atlas is going to shrug, and you people won’t know what hit you. Good luck, have fun. Your president will be on the golf course while his wife lavishes million dollar vacations on her posse. Small business people: If you have to lay people off, make sure you go with the Obama bumper sticker people first.
