Mrs. Sarah M. Root age 86, of Smyrna, passed away Tuesday, February 12. A graveside service will be held 12 pm Thursday, February 14 at the Cheatham Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Root had been a long-time resident of Cobb County and a long-time member of Hurt Road Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Don Root of Smyrna, daughters Sharon Brown of Marietta, Cindy Razzouk of Cumming, sister Ruby Lutterman of Evansville, IN, grandchildren Jennifer Perry, Elaine Schreiber, Derek Brown, Andrea Turner, great grandchildren Cooper Turner, Abigail Perry, Quinn Brown, Lucas Schreiber. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions to the American Heart Association7272 Greenville Avenue Dallas, TX 75231.
