Walker shot a team score of 311. Peachtree Ridge finished second at 317, Harrison was third at 319 and Kell finished fourth one shot farther back.
Hsu tied for medalist honors with Peachtree Ridge’s Mike Collins, but Collins claimed the first-place prize after winning a scorecard playoff.
Walker’s Barrett Kulik and Harrison’s Luke Schniederjans shot 75 to tie for third, the Hoyas’ Sam Maryland shot 76 to round out the top five. Mount Paran Christian’s Davis Hall shot 76, and Kell’s Ryan Hines and Mark Decoster shot 77 and 78 respectively.
Hillgrove 3, Coffee 1: Henry Squires won 6-0, 6-2 and Jay Nurse 6-3, 6-4 to lead the Hawks to a second-round Class AAAAAA state playoff victory.
Davis Adams and Joey Case won 6-1, 6-2 to complete the victory.
Mount Paran Christian 3, Lakeview Academy 1: Patrick Windorfer’s No. 3 singles match officially clinched a first round playoff win with Windorfer winning 6-0, 6-4. Other Mount Paran winners include Will Burtonat at No. 2 singles (6-3, 6-2) Brent Foster and Adam Rothrock at No. 1 doubles (6-2, 6-0).
Allatoona 4, Flowery Branch 1: Allatoona sealed the victory at No. 1 doubles with Melanie Whitley and Lauren Lees winning 6-4, 6-2. Kennedy Craig won 6-0, 6-4 at No. 1 singles. She was ahead 5-0 in the second before going into a brief dry spell but managed to snap out of it just in time.
Allison Whitley had an easier time of it at No. 3 singles with a 6-1, 6-2. Also winning was Lindsey Stowell and Corrie Williams at No. 2 doubles (6-3, 6-4).
Providence 3, Walker 0: Walker was unable to defend its state title, falling in the opening round to Providence as Region 6A’s No. 4 seed. The Lady Wolverines were winning at both doubles but could not match up with Providence at singles.
Whitefield Academy 4, Hebron Christian 0: The Lady Wolfpack cruised into the state quarterfinals behind a 6-2, 6-4 win from Rachel Hicks at No. 1 singles.
Kerry Anna Lemasters won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and Caroline Holliday and Megan Schwartzkopf won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles. Megan Smith and Amanda Braseleiro were 7-5, 6-2 winners at No. 2 doubles.
Whitefield Academy 7, Pace Academy 6: Justin Brendel scored three goals to lead the Wolfpack to a victory in the season-ending Class A tournament.
David Ballew scored two goals and Marcus Jones and Alex Manning each added one.
Ty McLemore had 11 saves in net.
Whitefield will face the winner of Holy Innocents/Fellowship on Friday.
Allatoona 14, Hillgrove 9: Katie McNutt scored six goals to lead the Lady Buccaneers to a season-ending victory over the Lady Hawks.
Bailey Wilson scored four goals, Kristin Wood had three and Anastasia Crunk added the final goal.
Lexi Downing made 12 saves in the net.
Allatoona finishes the season 5-11.
Lassiter 20, Roswell 12: Cydney Tutchton, Alana Abbott and Jill Rankin had three goals each to help Lassiter stay undefeated in Area 2AAAAAA on the road.
Tutchton also won 17 draws for Lassiter.
Lindsey Whitten had two goals and three assists and Mary Carter Putman, Alex Fusco, Alyssa Gattis and Alexa Daugherty each had two goals. Rachael Rankin added a goal and two assists.
Lassiter will end the regular season Friday at defending state champion Milton, also undefeated in area.
Kennesaw Mountain 21, McEachern 0: The Lady Mustangs already had a 16-0 lead at the half against their Area 1AAAAAA rival.
Mary Peterson scored four goals to lead Kennesaw Mountain. Amanda Griffin, Abbi Barnett and Kim Sortino each had three goals and defender Imani Sanders limited McEachern from going on offense.
Kennesaw Mountain will play at McIntosh today.
North Cobb 17, East Coweta 7: Taylor Johnson had nine goals to lead the Lady Warriors (4-12).
Morgan Hutcheson has four goals on the night and Tyesha Topps, Rachel Toma, Rachael Giles and Maria Mesa each scored one goal.
Payton Reed had six saves at goal.
North Cobb will host McEachern on Thursday.
