Kennesaw Mountain 2, River Ridge 1: The Mustangs rallied from a 1-0 deficit to win their season-opening game.
Down at the break, Kennesaw Mountain (1-0) got a pair of unassisted goals from Alejandro DelAngel and Felipe Silva.
Alejandro Aguilar and Taylor Cotton combined to make seven saves for the Mustangs, who will host Allatoona on Wednesday.
GIRLS SOCCER
Allatoona 3, Kennesaw Mountain 1: The Lady Buccaneers’ first game as a Class AAAAA program was a victorious one.
Aleiya Armstrong, Willough Davis and Suzanne Arafa all scored for Allatoona (1-0), with Arafa providing a pair of assists.
Miranda Creagan made 10 saves for the Lady Buccaneers, who will travel to Marist on Feb. 20.
Kennesaw Mountain (0-1) will host Hiram today.
