Cobb County police are asking for information about an armed robbery that occurred at a Waffle House restaurant at about 3 a.m. Thursday morning.

According to investigators, a black man carrying a handgun entered the restaurant at 3635 Austell Road in Marietta and demanded money from two female employees. There were no injuries.

“After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash from them, (the suspect) fled on foot towards the rear of the business,” according to Sgt. Dana Pierce with Cobb Police.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black bandanna that covered his face, a black hoodie and black gloves. Anyone with information is asked to call (770) 499-3945.
