Police: Dallas man fled from suspected stolen car

Erik Alexander Cutright, of Dallas was released on $1,000 bond after police say he fled from a suspected stolen car.

According to the arrest warrant, the incident occurred May 4 at 4:55 in the afternoon on New Chastain Road in Marietta. According to the warrant, Cutright was charged with hindering law enforcement by fleeing after being given several loud commands to stop.

The warrant states once Cutright was caught, he had to be tased twice before complying with verbal commands. Police said he ran from a car suspected to be stolen, though the warrant does not mention an arrest related to vehicle theft.
