Cobb Police arrested Robin Joy Keeling for theft of over $3,000 by deception.

According to the arrest warrant, Keeling agreed to sell a Russian Terrier dog to a woman, who paid $3,000 and other related expenses for it. According to the warrant, when the woman arrived to pick the dog up on the agreed date, April 17, Keeling was either not home or refused to answer the door.

Police say Keeling and the woman had been working together on this deal since February, and Keeling cashed the checks for the dog on February 11.

Keeling lives in Acworth on Wildflower Pond. She was arrested May 1 and released the same day on $5,000 bond. According to police, she faces a felony charge for theft by deception.
