Police: 3 Powder Springs women charged with assaulting man

Three Powder Springs women face felony aggravated assault charges after police say they beat a man with a baseball bat and cut him with a knife.

Alexis Normanique Pounds, Tijana Radjenovic and Crystal Normal are accused of driving to a home on Mustang Drive in Powder Springs off Hopkins Road to fight with the victim. Police say Normal drove the group to the home and kicked the victim in the face, causing minor lacerations to his mouth while Pounds struck the victim with a baseball bat and Radjenovic cut him on his upper right arm and shoulder, causing minor cuts.

The three woman are accused of fleeing from the scene in a white Dodge Avenger.

They were stopped later, a short distance from where the fight is said to have taken place, according to an arrest warrant.
