MARIETTA — Marietta Police detectives are asking parents to ask their female children between 6 and 12 years old who were at White Water between the end of August and beginning of September if a man touched them inappropriately.

According to police, numerous witnesses said an older white male between 50 and 70 years old with white hair had inappropriate contact with young female children in the wave pool at White Water off Cobb Parkway in Marietta. Officer David Baldwin said no victims have come forward. Detectives have identified a suspect but are withholding his name and photo.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Detective Erion at (770) 794-5363 or the anonymous tip line at (770) 794-6990.
